In fact, it was established in 1998 by the congregation of sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro as a nursery school so as to support the orphans and children around Igoma. The headquarter of the congregation is in Moshi-Kilimanjaro. The congregation has been extending this apostolate in various dioceses including Musoma. \r\nIn 2007 the school was officially registered as nursery school. In 2008 the school was registered as a primary school with the registration EM 14464. The school has been promoting education through affordable self-helping initiative.
