Upendo English medium Pre-& Primary school is found at Nyamagana district in the Archdiocese of Mwanza. In fact, it was established in 1998 by the congregation of sisters of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro as a nursery school so as to support the orphans and children around Igoma. The headquarter of the congregation is in Moshi-Kilimanjaro. The congregation has been extending this apostolate in various dioceses including Musoma. In 2007 the school was officially registered as nursery school. In 2008 the school was registered as a primary school with the registration EM 14464. The school has been promoting education through affordable self-helping initiative. The school offers quality education to children of all races and religious backgrounds basing its curriculum on the official Tanzania primary syllabus.
